Popper FAQ: FAQ

WHAT ARE POPPERS?

Popper is a street name given to a chemical class made up of different types of nitrites. They are sold in small glass bottles that contain a liquid chemical blend of the nitrites and other ingredients. The most common sizes sold are 10ML, 15ML, or 30ML bottles.

WHAT DO POPPERS DO?

Poppers are intended to be used as specialty cleaning products or liquid incence. When used as a recreational drug, poppers are inhaled for an instant high or rush that can last for a few minutes. When used during sex poppers have a "miracle" effect on relaxing sensitive muscles (specifically the anal sphincter) and increasing blood flow to other sensitive body parts which creates a euphoric effect.

ARE POPPERS SAFE?

Poppers are very safe when used for their intended purposes. Abuse of poppers can have negative health consequenses, including: a sudden drop in blood pressure, dizziness, increased heart rate, warm sensations, eye irritation and in rare cases may cause blistering of skin that comes into contact with the chemical. Research shows that using poppers recreationally can also lead to an increase in risky sexual behavior. NEVER ABUSE POPPERS WHEN TAKING ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION MEDICATION!!!

HOW LONG DO POPPERS LAST?

Although it is hard to calculate the exact amount of uses, a 10ML popper could allow upwards of 100 applications. Once the seal is broken on a popper, we recommend using the contents within 30 days for the most effective results. Unopened poppers will retain their original quality and effectiveness for up to one year. It is recommeded to store poppers in a cool and dark place.

DO DIFFERENT BRANDS OF POPPERS HAVE DIFFERENT EFFECTS?

Real poppers contain one of the following types of nitrites: Alkyl (Amyl) Nitrite, Isobutyl Nitrite, or Isopropyl Nitrite. Poppers that contain Alkyl (Amyl) Nitrite tend to be the most sought after in terms of effectiveness, but come with many legal consequences when possessed without a prescription. Isobutyl nitrite is a clean and equally effective ingredient used in all the poppers we sell. Poppers made with Isoproply Nitrite are often low quality knockoff products that are not very effective and can cause headaches and skin blistering.
